Dental Care
Pet's can't brush their teeth like we do, so to help them out, regular professional cleaning is an important part of their life.  Dental care also helps maintain the overall health of your pet.  We use modern and safe technology to clean each tooth carefully, as well as going below the gum line.  Dental technicians use an ultrasonic scaler to clean away plaque and tartar, then polish each tooth for smoothness, and apply an Oravet sealant to resist plaque buildup after leaving us.  We use antimicrobial flushes and floride treatments to strengthen your pets teeth.  We consult with you to explain at home care and benefits such as at home brushing, special diets, water additives, chews, and the Oravet at home care kit to continue keeping your pet's mouth healthy, fresh and white!  Park Place Animal Hospital is the only veterinary hospital in the Lake Oconee area with digital dental radiographs.  Digital radiographs allow us to see areas of the tooth otherwise unseen.
