Dr. Lorelei Prichard
Dr. Lorelei Prichard grew up on the family farm in the hills of West Virginia.  She realized her desire to become a veterinarian when, as a small child, she saw her mother's horse experience a difficult birth followed by the unfortunate death of the foal.  Driven by her desire to become an animal doctor, she worked her way through college.  She completed her undergraduate work at Potomac State College and West Virginia University wheres she received her B.S. in Animal Science.  Dr. Prichard then spent several yeras in Bethesda, MD at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences(USUHS) employed by the Department of Immunology before attending Tuskegee School Of Veterinary Medicine.  In 1996, she married a large animal veterinarian and moved to Watkinsville, Georgia.  Raising five children, seven dogs, four horses and a flock of assorted fowl as well as opening a  state of the art animal hospital has made her a master of multi-tasking!  Dr. Prichard is a general small animal practitioner with special interests in soft tissue surgery and dentistry.  Her interests outside the clinic include fishing, horseback riding and enjoying the outdoors with her family.
 
Dr. Susan Brosman
Dr. Brosman was born in Wiesbaden Germany to a military family.  She knew from the time she was 5 that she wanted to be a veterinarian when she found an abandoned little puppy that needed help.  In 1992, Dr. Brosman received her B.S. in Animal Dairy Science from Auburn University and then went on to attend Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine.  This is where she met Dr. Prichard and formed a lifelong friendship and now  a business partnership.  Dr. Brosman currently resides in Morgan County with her husband Greg, their daughter Elizabeth, 4 dogs, 2 cats and a horse.  Her passion has always been working with animals from little tiny kittens to 400 pound tigers.  Dr. Brosman has a special interest in client education and believes that empowering the pet owner with knowledge will ensure their piece of mind and help their pet live a full, happy and healthy life. 
  Dr. Lynn Echols
Dr. Echols has 29 years of experience being a 1977 graduate of Texas A&M. She has had her own veterinarian practice in Bradenton Florida for 18 years, and has worked in veterinarian practices in Florida, Texas, Louisiana and Georgia. She has family in Washington and the Greensboro/Union Point area. Her son is also a Texas A&M graduate and is currently serving his country in the army stationed in Savannah. She loves this area and is happy to be of service to the community by caring for your pets.
 

Jessica Bowers 
Certified Obedience Instructor
Office Manager/Vet Tech
Jessica joined our team in February of 2007, after moving here from Gwinnett County, where she was a Veterinary Technician for 9 years. Jessica earned her animal care certification through the American Veterinary Medical Association. Wanting more land and less hustle and bustle her husband and her relocated to Buckhead. Growing up in rural Pennsylvania she has had a passion for animals since she can remember and knew someday she would make a career out of it. She moved to Georgia shortly after graduation and has been working in the animal field for over 14 years now. Eight years ago she decided she wanted to learn more about canine behavior and took on the task of becoming a certified obedience instructor. She now owns her own company, Dealing With Your Dog and offers group classes at our hospital or private lessons in your home. Both of her professions are very rewarding! She enjoys educating and meeting clients and getting to know them and their pet on a personal basis, wanting to care for someone’s pet the way she would want her pets taken of. Jessica enjoys riding her horse, mountain biking, reading, and rehabilitating baby squirrels in her spare time. Jessica personally owns seven friendly felines, an 13 year old black Labrador Retriever, a Border Collie Mix, and two Paint horses.

 

 Sunny Popwell--Client Care Specialist

Sunny joined our team February 2010. She is a single mother of 2 wonderful children ages 5 and 10.  She supports the team by being a bright and cheerful receptionist. Sunny grew up in South Georgia and has always had a desire to help pets.  Sunny is a very people oriented person and her smile and laugh is contagious to all that meet her. Besides her children she shares her home with a yellow lab named Charlie and a bengal cat named Axel.  In her spare time she enjoys boating, reading and hanging out with her friends.  Sunny has been a great addition to the Park Place family!

 

Bonnie Stewart
Vet Assistant
Bonnie joined our team in the fall of 2008.  She is using her previous skills from a cardiac practice to empower her veterinary assistant techniques.  She owns three dogs that she rescued, a Rottweiler named Cici, a terrier mix called Sparky, and  a Georgia black dog named Molly. She is a busy volunteer for the Oconee Regional Humane Society making sure dogs find the perfect forever home!

   

Chelsea Marie
Chelsea adopted us in 2005 when her parents found out that their child was severly allergic to her.  They were devistated but knew that she would have a happy life here at Park Place Animal Hospital.  Her main duties here include meeting and greeting clients,  terrorizing some dogs and sunbathing.  Her hobbies include sleeping and eating.  She is such a joy to have around.
